    Sonny came into the shop quite upset about the condition of Hiwassee from SH 33 north to the river bridge. He says nothing has been done to it for years. The last rain has made it impassable. He also said James Frudenberger has blocked the ditch line at one of his gates and the water come out into the road and nothing has been done about it.

    Dust. We had talked pre-election about dirt road abatement for Charter Oak, east of Douglas Blvd. The dust is a serious health and safety issue. The traffic is constant which keeps the air quality very poor to say the least. Dirt road abatement also lessens grading maintenance. Any solutions are appreciated. Thank You, Peggy Denton

    There is a small bridge to get into and out of the area. Aside from being replaced which has been said that it is in the works for 2 years or more. The bridge at least need a weight limit sign. Trucks bringing constructions supplies stop and have to be convinced to cross.
